Mine Rescue Personnel Medicals (ERT)
Our Mine Rescue Medicals health surveillance program leverages our proprietary Boncentric Medicals, a sophisticated software system that provides end-to-end project management. All necessary medical equipment is brought directly to your site with a range of mobile options available.
Our ERT medicals include:

Frequently Asked Questions
Participating in mine rescue operations requires personnel to endure physically and mentally challenging conditions, often in harsh and hazardous environments.
Given the elevated risks from poor ventilation or polluted atmospheres, mine rescue personnel must wear self-contained breathing apparatus. These, combined with increased underground humidity, can significantly raise the physical demands and the risk of heat stress.
As a result, mine rescue personnel are subject to more frequent and rigorous health assessments. In addition to standard assessment components, they must complete a specialised VO2 step test to evaluate physical fitness and ensure they can safely carry out their duties.
